Concept:At the Miyagikyo Distillery Visitor Center, we introduce the process of whisky production, alcoholic beverages, the characteristics of Miyagikyo Distillery, the history of Nikka Whisky, the founder Masataka Taketsuru's passion for whisky making through videos, panels, and exhibits. Through the distillery tour, we aim to convey the charm of Nikka Whisky, deepen visitor's understanding of the whisky production process and the brand, and provide a glimpse of the allure of whisky that requires long years of aging.

Theater:Masataka Taketsuru's journey of learning the art of whisky making in Scotland and his aspirations behind the construction of Miyagikyo Distillery, the second distillery, will be revealed. Additionally, you can enjoy a visual presentation of how Taketsuru's pursuit of his dream, which began at the Yoichi Distillery, continues to this day in this region.<br>*Guided tours are available only for participants.

Exhibition:We present an experiential exhibition where you can feel the five senses in the process of whisky production, including the basic knowledge of whisky and the production of malt, whisky, and grain whisky at Miyagikyo Distillery. Furthermore, we exhibit the history of Nikka Whisky with photographs and products from that time. By holding attractive special exhibitions for a limited period, we will further convey the charm of Nikka Whisky and Miyagikyo Distillery.
